Echoes of the Past, P2

A loud hissing was heard with the atmosphere being depressurised inside the personnel bay, under a large explosion. The Phantoms pilot cursed over the radio channel, before being cut off as shrapnel tore though the cabin like it was little more then paper, tumbling through an ocean of needles with the destruction of one of the engines. The force of which to take the whole right door hatch from it mounts and fling it into space, sparking electrical cables were hanging loose from the torn open hole as blue fire lapped over the broken edges, and large pieces of torn metal were imbedded into the inner walls of the Phantom with the explosions force. The whole machine then viciously turned into a death spiral in it's futile attempt to escape it's evident destruction, now turning the once safe transport into blender of death.

Rksh felt a loud pop within his body at the shoulder and something sharp tear into his leg, he yelled in pain and was once again slammed up and against the interior walls of the Phantom, with ridged metal daggers continuing to tear through the air around him. His head was forcefully impacted into the ceiling to point of knocking him out cold, barely missing the large blades of metal that threatened to cut his head from the rest of his body.

The Phantom spun and turned uncontrollably, with it's pilot furiously jerking at the controls to bring the transport under ordered flight. The return journey to the ship was a mess, the Silver Ranger that once stood with Rksh was no longer inside the bay, and had been unlucky enough to be ejected with the door. Or perhaps he had been the lucky one, and survived the explosion to have been thrown clear of the death trap.

In any case of fate it was for his comrade, it was certain that Rksh was along for the ride at this point, continuously fighting to remain conscious from his sustained head injury and desperately holding on to anything in reach as to not be thrown out of the gaping hole in side of the Phantom, or be impaled onto the deadly metal inside.
